The Singing Seabee, Kevin Dougherty served 22 Years in U.S. Navy: Seabees - Builder “A” School, Concrete Vertical Construction; Seabees -Advanced Builder “C” School, Construction Inspector, Planning and Estimating, and Safety Inspector; Combat Skills Instructor, Port Hueneme, CA, 31st Naval Construction Regiment;  Selected to Serve on USS Constitution, Ship’s Carpenter and Crewmember; Honorably Discharged, Retired in 2005.                                                       
Above: 1990 Builder 2nd Class Petty Officer Dougherty was invited to perform his original music, "He's My Little Man" for President and Mrs. Bush and 5,000 fellow troops at Thanksgiving dinner in Saudi Arabia where he also got to meet Tom Brokaw and was featured on CNN and the Armed Forces radio, (article LA Times).

Kevin Dougherty, the Singing Seabee, performed the National Anthem for Walter Cronkite’s Lifetime Achievement Award ceremony (2004) while serving on the USS Constitution.
